It's incredible to see that the last post on this blog is .... only 3 months ago. How have you guys been? It's amusing to know that prolly the next time someone actually reads this, it might be another 3 months from now. We would have a grand total of 4 posts a year, lol.

Has it been two years? Has it been only two years since we left SCGS? I feel that I've changed quite a bit, and many things seem kinda different since SCGS. What about you guys?

It's exhilarating to grow up, but in many ways it hurts quite a bit too. And somehow that pessimistic side of me says that it will always be that way. Still it's always best to try and remain optimistic and look forward to things, esp. after As for you guys! All the best for all of you, alright?

Maybe 4PR has become a fragment in your memories already, but still thanks for checking out this little corner of the web that was created long time ago that will still attest that, in a little way, a fragment of 4PR'03 still floats around in the endless bog of webspace.

:)

NO ONE HAS TOUCHED THIS BLOG FOR ONE YEAR.

so i am writing up something now, and i wonder if anyone still visits it and will see it. if anyone sees this, do type up an entry, just to let me know you're alive.

it's rather sad. an abandoned blog, like a desolate house left to reek of loneliness. well, we're all in j2 now and i know we're really busy [it's sad how jc life really consumes us totally - though i guess we all need to move on] but i really hope we can keep in touch and try hard to keep whatever of the special class spirit we have left.

anyway. to let you in on how i am. i am currently very ... well. i don't know. sometimes when people ask, 'how are you' i wonder if i should ask back, 'do you want the generic answer or the truth?' and most of the time i don't think it's possible to tell people how i am unless they really look me in the eye, touch my shoulder or take my hand and ask. hard to sum up.

but i will try for one word : apprehensive. am dying to get out of njc and move on to greener pastures. yet scared of that at the same time - uni seems such a wide thing. and a levels, and applications? oh dear Lord. but the optimist in me says life will get better after a levels. recently though, had njDramafest [well okay, end of may]. some pr people came, which was nice, though wish all of you could have been part of it. i guess i have to say that one of the more [possibly most] enriching experiences of jc life was joining drama cca and becoming the vice-president. the experience of putting together a production and watching the audience on opening night is simply indescribable. even though i admit technically we can't compare to other schools in terms of standard - but it still meant a lot to me. it is amazing how hard we can work for people we barely know just to exhort reactions out of them. i guess that's what art does - you just want to touch people's lives, even if for one night.

i suppose i have changed a lot in the course of almost two years. deep down i feel i'm quite the same person, but i've made certain interesting [some unsavoury but necessary] discoveries that have really enriched my life [of myself, of my interests, etc].

anyway. i really hope that all of you are doing well, and that we will meet once everyone finally comes alive again [presumably that will be after the a levels].

love love love!,
mel.

Happy House Song

We were all once strangers,
Who came from different worlds,
And together in this Happy House,
We became one person, one soul.

Different individuals, several conflicts,
Forced to live with one another,
Hard at first,
We thought it wouldn't last.

But then we stood up as one,
One that didnt fall.
We fought the greatest battle of all.
Although we've lost our dreamcatcher,
We'll find it back somehow.
Dreams that live on forever,
And never die,
In our hearts.

Quoteworthy:

1) Wong Ying Ying: Class! Do your duty! The class is filthy!

2) Mr Tang: I'll just go and take care of the worms.

3) Mr Tang: In Physics, everything is simple and beautiful.

4) Mr Tang: I do not fail girls in Physics; it is they who fail themselves.

5) Ms Beh: When I was in Duman High ...
